Sadly it now feels like Summer is well and truly over (even though it’s felt a little too short this year)! No more summer dresses and bare legs as we start to dig out our knitwear and say hello to Autumn.
With lots of gorgeous new deliveries arriving everyday at Katie & Jo we are all getting excited about the new season.

The Summer to Autumn wardrobe transition can sometimes be a little tricky but we have a few little tips and tricks to help.

1. The Perfect Pair Of Ankle Boots
You can’t beat a great pair of ankle booties. They will go with just about anything and will dress an outfit up as well as being ultra practical with your jeans on the weekend. We adore these Ash Ivana boots (£179) which are ultra comfy.

2. The Fail Safe Black Jeans

We all have at least 1 pair in our wardrobes and are a definite staple.  I am totally in love with the Paige high rise Margot £195.  They are the most comfortable jeans I own and the high rise is super flattering.  The Margot really do keep their shape, no bagging here!   If you prefer something with a little more detail the Paige Edgemount £248, inspired by the LA rock & roll scene, with their silver zips on the front will make a statement.  They have the celebrity seal of approval.

3. Layering Knits

As it gets colder we all need something to wrap up in.  This 360 Sweater Ornelia piece (£327) is great for now when you don’t yet want to wear a coat.   You can fit lots of other layers underneath too and really wrap yourself up.  Mr.Pom approves!

Chinti & Parker’s super fun knits are also on our jumper wishlists. The hooray jumper (£350) is a firm favourite.

4. There Is Always Room For Another Scarf

I am sure I’m not alone in saying my scarf collection is vast!  But they are soooo useful so I can always justify another one.  I always carry one round in Autumn just in case the weather changes (which it often does).  Becksondergaard, as always, have got some great ones this season.  Prices start at £25.
