Whether you go all out and mix these trends for entire outfits, or simply implement some of them into your wardrobe, we are here to guide and help you look your chicest self this Spring.

1. 70ies Denim
The 70ies inspired style has been a big trend in 2015, and it continues into 2016. Denim being the focal point of the style, a modern take on the trend is displayed in cute button down skirts, with a great silhouette which flatters every body shape. Soft denim dresses and the classic subtle flare jean are a must.

Go for what suits your style, be that pastels or stronger colours, many or few.

The feature picture displays a mixture of these trends, styled with items available at Katie&Jo. The blouse is from Custommade, the skirt is Des Petis Hauts and the booties are Penelopy Chilvers. Staying monochrome in single hue blue is spot on trend right now. Mixing different textures such as denim, velvet and chunky knit, gives the outfit an interesting twist. The contrast between the heavy knit and the feminine skirt is what it is all about this late Winter, early Spring season!
