The famous saying “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” I think, sums up the capital of Italy perfectly. I was lucky enough to visit this beautiful city last weekend and was blown away by the sheer beauty of this magnificent place. With sooo much to see and do there wasn’t a quiet moment. Around every corner there is a spectacular church, ancient ruins, monuments or a grand statue to marvel at. We started by ticking off all the main attractions like the Colosseum, Vatican museum, St.Peter’s Basilica, Pantheon and Roman Forum all of which were totally breathtaking. The Sistine Chapel at the Vatican was an unforgettable experience. With the weather being around 25 degrees…

So my latest exciting news is that Thea is going to have a sibling. I am now four months pregnant with number two and starting to think, as the bump is beginning to show, about my wardrobe for the next six months. Although I believe you should stay true to whatever style you usually wear, I find with pregnancy that even your day to day outfits require much more careful consideration. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t still rock statement styles when you’re pregnant and it certainly doesn’t mean you can’t look fabulous. We don’t do official maternity wear at Katie & Jo, but we offer plenty of styles that would work perfectly for pregnancy and which you would be able…
I love it when the temperature drops and I can wrap up in luxe layers (until the novelty wears off at the start of January when new season deliveries start to arrive). Today I am wearing a Libelula coat which has a beautiful pleated back and gives my waist a bit of definition which I really need. I have accessorized with a Christy’s hat in case it rains, again, on my cycle home, and an Ashiana scarf which adds a splash of colour to my outfit.
I love the way this shirt delicate silk shirt by Baum Und Pferdgarten, with pretty ruffle detail down the front, is toughened up by the print and unusual colours. It would definitely add some personality to your wardrobe. Style it with skinny jeans and point-toe pumps.

Having heard such great things about The Power Yoga Company on Lettice Street, I have been meaning to try it out it for a while. By co-incidence, my daughter started nursery last week right next door, so by setting my alarm a little earlier than usual, I have already managed to squeeze in a couple of morning sessions. What a fantastic way to start the day, and here’s why: Their 7 sacred reasons to step on the mat and practice Power Yoga: Gain energy and positivity Improve concentration and focus in all areas of life Decrease back pain and increase posture awareness Fight anxiety and improve social skills Enhance athletic ability by increasing cardiovascular efficiency Improve…
We have recently started stocking the Danish brand Baum Und Pferdgarten. ‘Characteristic for the two designers are their fascination of contrasts which gives their collections a dualistic touch. It can be as a meeting between feminine and masculine, minimal contra grandiose, shiny versus matte or something completely different as their aim always is to surprise.’ I love the quirky playfulness of their designs and today am wearing one of their dresses with a Sarah Forsyth clutch bag.
Autumn has always been my favourite season. It’s far easier to look stylish in autumn/winter than summer. I love layering, knitwear, leather, parkas and covering up from head to toe. I have fallen in love with this sweater by Hunkydory £150.00, it also comes in grey and burgundy, and have become a devoted fan of DL1961 jeans. These are Amanda Skinny Nervana £165.00. The clutch is by Lamb 1887.
